SSAIB-Registered Firm SecuriGroup Celebrate British Security Award Success

SSAIB are delighted to hear that one of our registered firms were celebrating at last week’s British Security Awards – as SecuriGroup’s Silas Bogyere was the exemplary winner of the Service to the Customer award during this year’s ceremony in London.

In addition to his compassion, teamwork and desire to work smarter – after introducing new policies and training up teams at the Glasgow-based SSAIB-registered firm - Silas was also recognised for his tireless charity work, which has seen him lead fundraising schemes that have raised over £20,000 for various charities over the last few years.

His charitable nature also shone through during the Grenfell Tower disaster in June 2017 – the victims of which the Service to the Customer award was dedicated to – as he was able to update the client and SecuriGroup on events as they were happening.

Silas – who was presented his award by the Reverend Richard Coles - also worked to help aid the affected community by raising over £1000 and collecting and dropping off essentials to victims on the same day.

SecuriGroup – who are SSAIB-certified for both the SIA Approved Contractors Scheme and Management Systems, in addition to currently going through the application process for Security Systems as well – would have been confident about winning the Service to the Customer award, with Silas narrowly edging his way past colleague Dougie Crabbe who was also nominated to claim the award.

Customer service is pivotal to all businesses – big or small – so it’s only right that examples of outstanding commitment are recognised in this way.

“Too often, the exceptional work that is completed in this industry doesn’t get acknowledged in the right way. Therefore, it’s extra special to see Silas, Dougie and SecuriGroup rewarded for their exemplary service and I just hope that this is the start of even more of our registered firms receiving the national recognition they deserve for their outstanding customer service.”
