Registration Open for SSAIB Installers’ Forum Event at BT Tower

SSAIB have opened the registration period for the 2018 Installers’ Forum taking place at the prestigious BT Tower in London on Wednesday May 16.

Registration emails have been sent to all 1700+ SSAIB-registered firms, with details of how to register and a special registration link for the event. This event is very popular and is always oversubscribed, so those that are wanting to attend are advise to do so sooner rather than later.

Due to the expected demand for places, there is a maximum of two delegates per firm for the event. In addition, should any of the successful applicants drop out prior to the event then these places will then be filled up from a reserve list on a first come, first served basis.

The BT Redcare-sponsored event will start at 9:30am with an SSAIB update from chief executive Alex Carmichael, before the event sponsors themselves discuss the latest developments within BT Redcare.

Security systems scheme manager David Roscoe will also go through the changes introduced with the new PD6662:2017 standard and how they affect our registered firms, while BT Group give an update on their IP Transformation and the impact it will have on the industry.

The 2018 SSAIB signature event is also being powered by IFSEC International, who will round off the presentations with IFSEC brand director Gerry Dunphy giving those in attendance the lowdown on the plans for this year’s showpiece at the Excel in London in June.

The event will then finish with a short open forum, followed by lunch at 12.30pm in the revolving restaurant that stands at 189 metres high. With unparalleled views of London, the BT Tower is a unique venue and SSAIB are delighted to be welcoming its members to this event.

SSAIB sales and marketing manager Andrew Brown commented: “This is always the event that our firms look for and enquire about, so – if it’s anything like previous years – these places will go almost straight away, which is why I’d urge all those people desperate to go to register as soon as possible.

“We always try to have speakers for issues and topics that we hope our firms will not only enjoy, but will learn something from as well and this year is no different. I’m positive that this is going to be another fantastic occasion in the brilliant surroundings of the BT Tower, so make sure you don’t miss out!”

Once companies have had their places finalised, they will receive the final details for the event - including access requirements – and, for security reasons, attendees must register in advance for this event and it is essential that they bring some form of identification on the day – a passport or driver’s licence, for example. It is not possible to send a substitute representative on the day.
