Administration Assistant

To assist the Conformance Administrator with processing incoming audit reports, including checking, actioning any requests and seeing them through to completion. Providing administrative support and holiday cover for the Conformance Administrator including monitoring and chasing overdue reports, chasing non-conformities and sending out letters. To deal with enquiries relating to the various schemes and products provided by SSAIB and to escalate as and when required. To do so in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sort incoming e-mails
  • Check reports
  • Action requests from reports
  • Chase up and follow these requests through
  • Provide support and send out letters on behalf of the Conformance Administrator
  • Provide holiday cover for the Conformance Administrator
  • Monitor and chase overdue reports where applicable

The company currently has a vacancy for a part-time fire and electronic security regional inspector to cover the North West of England, for which the following knowledge, skills, experience and education are required:

- Computer literate
- Confident in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Previous experience of the Electronic Security industry and Fire Alarms Industry.
- Excellent telephone skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise issues
- Able to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working

Our auditors are required to work flexible hours and must be willing to travel as well. A confident and determined professional who can work as part of a team and as an individual under their own initiative, the successful applicant must also have an eye for attention to detail.
