SSAIB is the leading certification body specialising in providing certification services to the security and safety industry.  Our scope of activity includes the certification of organisations supplying security systems, fire detection and alarm systems, fire risk assessments, portable fire extinguishing equipment, manned security services, telecare services and monitoring services.

Certification with SSAIB is a mark of excellence and, with over 1,600 small and larger companies registered, we represent the greatest number of security service providers in the sector.

The company currently has a vacancy for a part-time regional inspector to cover Gloucester and South Wales, for which the following knowledge, skills, experience and education are required:

- Computer literate
- Confident in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Previous experience of the Electronic Security industry and Fire Alarms Industry.
- Excellent telephone skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise issues
- Able to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working

Our auditors are required to work flexible hours and must be willing to travel as well. A confident and determined professional who can work as part of a team and as an individual under their own initiative, the successful applicant must also have an eye for attention to detail.

Salary negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
